The annual tuition rate reported to the ABA is a converted amount, based on the average number of credits required each year for degree completion.  The cost of attendance for a first-year student is typically higher than the cost for the student's subsequent second and third years because the law school’s curriculum design requires first-year law students to take more credits than second- and third-year students.  Since Drexel University uses a per-credit billing system, the total tuition in the first year is slightly higher than the annual average tuition rate for the second and third years. Students also pay a general fee per academic year.
