LLM in American Legal Practice
Distinguish yourself from the competition with the Kline School of Law’s LLM program in American Legal Practice. The LLM is a 24-credit program for individuals who hold law degrees from institutions outside of the U.S.
A Practical Approach, A Personal Focus
the Kline School of Law stands apart from other law schools by offering small classes and personalized education in a close and supportive community. Most importantly, our Co-op Externship allows highly qualified LLM students to earn credit by working side by side with American lawyers in corporate offices, law firms, government agencies and the courts for 15 weeks.
Every LLM student works with a faculty advisor to design a curriculum unique to his or her own interests and then gets matched with a JD student partner to navigate both the law school community and Philadelphia. LLM students are part of the law school community and can take part in the life of the law school.
