3-Year JD Program

COMPLETE YOUR JD IN THREE YEARS (OR A BIT MORE).

If you’re like a lot of students entering law school, you may want to complete your studies over the course of three years. A lot depends on your own learning style and how certain you are of the career direction you want to pursue.

Our traditional JD program gives you the luxury of exploring the rich diversity of legal career opportunities over the course of three years. If you’re not 100 percent sure what type of lawyer you want to be, this can be very helpful.

The three-year JD is especially well suited if you wish to pursue traditional career pathways in larger firms or government agencies. As a traditional three-years JD student, you have the possibility of completing two semester-long co-op placements in addition to two whole summers with law firms or government agencies. How’s that for gaining an immersion in the law?

Summer Start Program

If you’re someone who really likes to invest time in preparing, you can even get a head start on your traditional JD by taking seven credits' worth of first-year courses the summer before your full-time studies begin. Our early start option gives you the luxury of getting a jump on your legal education, while allowing you to finish with classmates in the three-year program.
