Breaking Down the Walls Through Education: Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program

Lori Pompa, founder of Inside-Out,  an organization that brings college students together with incarcerated men and women to study as peers in a seminar behind prison walls, will discuss the importance of education in prisons, and the issues plaguing the criminal justice system.
 
Pompa will be joined by Tyrone Werts, an individual formerly incarcerated for 36 years.  Werts will discuss his experience in the criminal justice system, his involvement with Inside-Out, and the work he has done to help those currently involved in the criminal justice system.
