Diversity Awareness Week 2013

The law school's Diversity Committee will be hosting a series of events celebrating the rich diversity of the law school and the Philadelphia legal community.

Live Stream Appearance of Justice Sonia Sotomayor from the Constitution Center

Watch the live screening of a conversation with Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the first Hispanic and the third woman on the U.S. Supreme Court.  Justice Sotomayor will recount her journey from a Bronx housing project to Princeton, Yale Law School, the New York County District Attorney’s office, and the Federal District Court, all before the age of 40—followed by her appointment to the nation’s highest court. The conversation will be moderated by Amy Gutmann, president of the University of Pennsylvania and a Trustee of the Center.

The Women's Law Society is hosting the event.
