Nicole Crossey and John Lang, both 2Ls, received the award for Second Best Brief in the John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition hosted by Seton Hall Law on March 16-17.

The competition included teams from 40 law schools around the country.

“This a huge and very prestigious competition,” said Professor Veronica Finkelstein, who supervises the Moot Court Board.

Crossey and Lang were coached by Vineet Gauri and Nancy Winter from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia.
