3L Wins ABA/Labor and Employment College Writing Competition

Michelle Streifthau-Livizos, a 3L, won the College of Labor and Employment and American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law Annual Law Student Writing Competition.

Streifthau-Livizos, a lead editor of Drexel Law Review and member of the Moot Court Board, won the competition with her paper, “Protecting the Loyal Hardworker: The Need for a Fair Analysis of Venue Clauses in ERISA Plans.”

The award was part of a flurry of attention Streifthau-Livizos has received for her writing. "Protecting the Loyal Hardworker" also won first place in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel annual writing competition. And her paper, "Can a Judge and a Lawyer Be Friends?" won the Delaware Bar Foundation's Bruce M. Stargatt Legal Ethics Writing Competition.
