First Judicial District of Pennsylvania Honors Pro Bono Service of Faculty and Alumni

Two law school professors and two graduates will receive recognition for their service to underprivileged citizens from the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.

Professors Amy Montemarano and Reena Parambath and law school graduates Leo Mulvihill and Shabrei Parker will receive Pro Bono Publico Awards at a reception Oct. 24.

Montemarano teaches Legal Methods, Legal Research and Writing for Judicial Clerkships and a Lawyering Practice Seminar.

Parambath directs the law school’s Co-op Program and teaches a Lawyering Practice Seminar.

Mulvihill, a member of the Class of 2010, is a partner at Mulvihill & Rushie LLC, The Fishtown Lawyers.

Parker, also a member of the Class of 2010, is a clerk for Judge Sandy L.V. Byrd of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. She is corresponding secretary for The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia.
