Brian Ford is a nationally renowned consumer products specialist with 37 years of accounting and business advisory experience serving clients ranging from start-up companies through multibillion dollar international organizations. He has extensive experience with supply chain management for the pharmaceutical industry working with wholesale distributors and retail outlets.

For many years, Mr. Ford served as the coordinating partner for the largest publicly-held wholesale pharmaceutical distribution company. In the course of his work, Mr. Ford has dealt with significant financial, management, and strategic issues affecting his clients, including compliance and regulatory issues, mergers and strategic growth. He has also worked closely with client management on critical business transformations including numerous system conversions. 

Mr. Ford also has served the retail industry for decades. He has routinely worked for some of the largest retailers in the industry from department and specialty chains to direct marketing and web-based companies. Mr. Ford has served as Ernst & Young’s national director of Retail and Consumer Products Education, and he is the co-author of The Ernst & Young Business Plan Guide, one of the firm’s best-selling books, which is now in its third edition.

Mr. Ford received a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in 1971. He had been with Ernst & Young for 37 years. He recently became the chief executive officer of Washington Philadelphia Investors and is a member of the Board of Directors of GulfMark Offshore, a public company in the oil services industry. He is also on the board of many community organizations including the Board of Advisors for Rutgers School of Business, the Board of Trustees of Drexel University, the Board of Directors of the Drexel College of Medicine and the Philadelphia Conventions and Visitors Bureau.
