Caution: Scam Emails Impersonating Drexel Office 365 Service
June 30, 2017
Shortly after Drexel migrated the community to Office 365 email service, phishing scams tailored to impersonate Drexel have begun cropping up. These emails might use our official logos, and thus attempt to trick users into clicking a link to verify their Office 365 account. These emails are SCAMS. Your Office 365 accounts DO NOT require additional verification.
Drexel students, faculty, professional staff, and select groups may access their Office 365 email at portal.office.com. Sign in with your Drexel credentials, and click on the "Mail" tile. If you have any trouble accessing your account, or if the "Mail" tile is missing, please contact the Drexel IT Help Desk at 215.895.2020 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
See examples of more scam emails on our Debunker page. Examples of real emails from Drexel are posted on our site here. For more information about the Drexel Office 365 services, see our Office 365 page.
