How To Edit Images

Basic Procedure

  • Right click on a photo in the WYSIWYG editor to pull up the image editor
  • From here you can:
    • Change a image
    • Have text flow around the image to the left or right
    • Add space around an image

Changing a photo

  1. In the design view of the editor, right click on an image and a small dialog box appears. Then choose "Set Image Properties."

  2. A new window will appear. Click on the box to the right of "Image Src"

  3. Another window will appear allowing you to browse the Sitecore Media Library. Choose your new image and exit out of all the windows.
  4. Click "Accept" at the bottom of the editor, the Save, Preview, and Publish

Make text wrap around photo

  1. Here is an example of an image added to line with no special accomodation for text wrapping. Notice that the image sits in the middle of the line and causes the line height to increase. This is the default behavior of an image, but it is usually not what you really want.
  2. Here is an example of an image with text wrapping. It is called "floating"
  3. As in item 1 above, right click on the photo, then click "Set Image Properties".
  4. In the next window, click Image Alignment
