Access & Login Denial

Problem 1

When attempting to access the Drexel SharePoint home page you receive an Access Denied error.

Solution

  1. Ensure that you are correctly entering your Drexel Domain password* - the one you would use to log onto a computer at Drexel. You may need to reset your domain password.

    *NOTE: Your Drexel Domain password is not necessarily the same as your Drexel One password.

  2. If you still cannot access the site, you may not have the necessary permissions. Please contact our support team (websupport@drexel.edu or 215-895-0202) to check your Active Directory group settings.

Problem 2

A colleague provided a link to a SharePoint TeamSite but when I attempt to log in, I receive an Access Denied error.

Solution

Contact that SharePoint site's administrator (usually the department's IT coordinator, team leader, or administrative assistant) responsible for managing membership and ask that they request access for you.
