The mission of the IRT Security Group (IRTSG) is to ensure the continued availability, confidentiality, and integrity of Drexel University information, networks and systems.

The responsibilities of the IRTSG include:

• Network monitoring and incident response
• Systems vulnerability assessment
• Operation of the Resnet network registration system
• Copyright violation response
• Ensuring compliance with federal laws
• Increasing awareness of secure computing practices at Drexel University
