Network Services

Wired, Wireless, and VPN access for use from off-campus

The CTI/Network group designs, engineers, operates, and maintains the wired and wireless local area networks that connect people at each campus, the metropolitan area network that connects our three campuses, and the uplinks that connect Drexel to the Internet, Internet2 and other private networks.

To Report Network or System Trouble

First, determine whether you can browse the web and/or if other people can use the service you are trying to access. If you can web browse or if others can use, say, email, the network/system is probably not down.

You can check the System Status page to see if the problem has already been reported.

Next, call the IRT Help Desk at 215-895-2020. Most network/system problems can be handled via the Help Desk.

Lastly, you can call the CTI/Network Operation Center at 215-895-6666 to report a known trouble. After hours, our automated system allows you to report a trouble or alert the Network and Systems Operations staff of a critical service interruption impacting many users or campus buildings.
