Camtasia Studio

Camtasia Studio is an application that facilitates the capture, editing and production of multimedia on a desktop computer.  It is currently only available to faculty and staff and is distrbuted by the Online Learning Team at their trainings for the product.  IRT holds a limited number of licenses and requires that training be attended in order to obtain a copy of the software.

Camtasia studio is currently only available for the Microsoft Windows platform (XP or higher) and can be processer intensive when working with recordings.  The user is able to capture video of anything on their computer screen (microphone and webcam input as well), and then edit and produce high quality clips in many different file formats with a smart, quick to learn, and feature rich interface.

Camtasia Relay

Camtasia Relay is a simple to use application that is meant for easy screen recording and automatic publication to the DragonDrop system at IRT.  Relay supports screen capture recording on both Windows and Mac platforms.  So if you do not need to make edits Relay can help you to quickly capture a lecture and produce it in a number of formats right to the DragonDrop server.
