This Quick Guide to Information Resources and Technology provides an overview of the computing and information resources environment at Drexel University.
The New Student Technology Checklist is a comprehensive list of steps and services to ascertain that you have the pieces of your electronic identity in place. To access the Checklist, see http://www.drexel.edu/irt/accounts/setup/newStudent.
Many services at Drexel are available primarily – or solely – electronically. For your electronic identity, you will need:
- Drexel ID card
- Drexel computer account(s)
- Personal University ID number

Your Drexel computer account provides access, upon login with your username and password, to the following services:
- DrexelOne portal account
- @drexel.edu email account
- Drexel Domain account (including the Software Server, Blackboard Vista, DragonFly3, etc.)

Your personal University ID number, an automatically-generated eight-digit number, is the key identifier that tracks your records through the systems at Drexel University. Find your number along with your computer account(s) at http://accounts.drexel.edu. Once you have activated your Drexel computer account(s), you can also look up your University ID number at https://www.drexel.edu/irt/univid.
