Drexel, Hebrew University, CHOP Hold Joint Research Symposium

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Hebrew University came together for a symposium focused on pediatric translational research — turning lab science into treatment for patients. Through panel discussions and breakout sessions, “dream teams” including researchers from each institution were formed. Those teams hope to open up new avenues of research and compete for funding. The symposium was the first outcome of a research consortium launched in Israel in November 2013 by leaders from the 3 institutions and Mayor Michael Nutter.
