Drexel Students Complete First Environment and Public Health Internship connected to the Drexel-SARI Center

Dr. Kristine Mulhorn visits China

Dr. Kristine Mulhorn recently travelled to Dalian Maritime University in China under the Fulbright Senior Specialist Program. Dr. Mulhorn spent 17 days at Dalian Maritime giving lectures on aging and demography in the US and China, US health care reform, and sociology. Read More

A Drexel University delegation, led by President Fry and including Julie Mostov, Vice Provost for Global Initiatives; Suhada Jayasuriya, Distinguished University Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics (MEM); Wei Sun., Albert Soffa Chair Professor, MEM and Director, Drexel-SARI Center, and David Velinsky, Vice President for Academy Science, Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University and Head of the Department of Biodiversity, Earth and Environmental Sciences were in China last month on a multi-city trip. Co-op and Study Abroad Opportunities in East and Southeast Asia

On November 27th OIP joined Steinbright Career Development Center, Study Abroad, and the Office of Alumni Relations in an informational session geared toward co-op and study abroad opportunities in East and Southeast Asia. This event, held in the atrium of Bossone, encouraged the discussion of these expanding opportunities for both work and study. Peter J. Jennifer Adams is an associate professor in global international education at Drexel University School of Education. Her research, building on longstanding interests in education, social inequality, and Chinese society, investigates the effects of poverty, social change and educational policy on the educational experiences and general well-being of children and adolescents in China. Rebecca Clothey is an assistant professor of higher education at Drexel University’s School of Education. Her research focuses primarily on international higher education policy, issues of equity and access, and ethnicity. Read More

Derek Gillman joined the Drexel faculty in 2014. From 2006-2013 he was Executive Director and President of the Barnes Foundation, where he stewarded the collection from Merion to a new campus in central Philadelphia designed by Tod Williams and Billie Tsien. Read More

Dr. Richardson Dilworth

Richardson Dilworth is Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Center for Public Policy at Drexel University. Besides Drexel, he has taught, among other places, at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
