These are classrooms that engage our students with students at one of our partner universities abroad through a range of on-line and electronic technologies, addressing global challenges and solutions.
The Study Abroad Office, under the Office of International Programs, serves as the administrative hub for study abroad programs and initiatives at Drexel University, as well as being the first point of contact for inbound non-matriculated exchange students who come to Drexel via our many exchange partners.
International Students and Scholars
The International Students and Scholars (ISSS) staff advises international students, scholars and faculty on immigration, cultural, financial, academic and personal concerns. ISSS also works to promote meaningful interaction between United States Citizens and nationals of other countries by organizing cultural enrichments opportunities for all members of the Drexel community.
English Language Center
The Drexel English Language Center (ELC) aims to provide the highest quality English language instruction and support services to ESL learners, promote the practice and scholarship of English language teaching, and to provide leadership in the areas of intercultural understanding and cooperation.
International Area Studies Program
The International Areas Studies (IAS) Program at Drexel strives to create opportunities for students and faculty to meet the challenges of 21st Century by taking an interdisciplinary, intercultural, and interactive approach to international studies and being dedicated to modern language education and experiential learning.
