I lead a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping those in poverty gain the tools, skills and self confidence to move permanently out of poverty towards self-sufficiency. Smart philanthropy choices can help provide the opportunities for those folks who seek pathways out of poverty.

I give to those organizations that support my philosophy. Educational institutions are one important part of gaining the tools needed for good, living wage jobs that help people reach their goals. Drexel was there for me in the late 1960's when I needed help; I've gone on to a wonderful career and it all started at Drexel with my undergraduate degree.

I give annual gifts, and I have named Drexel as a part of my planned giving.
