Drexel, a nineteenth century financial industry leader, established our institution with a philanthropic spirit to provide the working class an opportunity to learn, labor, and achieve excellence. Over a century later, Drexel’s legacy thrives as his institution has grown into a world-class university. However, the history and traditions accumulated over the years have faded from memory.
