Bachelor of Science in Sport Management
The BS in Sport Management is available as both a four-year program with one cooperative education experience and a five-year program with three cooperative education experiences.
The demands of the ever evolving and increasingly sophisticated multi-billion dollar global sport industry call for professionals who have strong academic business credentials paired with strategic work experiences in sport organizations. The Drexel Sport Management major presents students with a robust sport business curriculum that includes core courses in analytics, economics, ethics, finance, law, management, marketing, media, and technology. Students will encounter a program that draws upon the unique aspects of the Drexel difference best represented by our concept of Sport Business - STEM (sport within a social context, sport and its inseparable connection to technology, sport entrepreneurship, and sport media).
Electives provide the opportunity for you to freely explore a range of courses or to pursue minor courses of study in areas that advance your goals. Committed to merging theory and practice, the faculty you will meet in the program are dedicated to providing a vibrant learning environment that draws upon case examples and current events.
