Gaming and Casino Operations

Minor in Gaming and Casino Operations

The minor in Gaming and Casino Operations is designed for students interested in adding an in-depth understanding of the gaming industry to their existing major. It provides a background for excellent employment opportunities in the expanding gaming industry. Students will learn on "live" slot machines through a partnership with Scientific Games and Konami in the Dennis Gomes Memorial Casino Training Lab. The courses provide a basic understanding of the hospitality industry and an in-depth study of various aspects of gaming operations.

The minor consists of 24 credits. Interested students should consult with a hospitality management advisor to schedule courses appropriate for their background and goals.
