Master of Science in Hospitality Management
The Master of Science in Hospitality Management is designed for those who want to gain an in-depth knowledge of the diverse facets of the hospitality industry with a flexible and custom plan of study. Areas of study include restaurant and beverage, event planning, travel and tourism, gaming and casino management and resort management.
The hospitality industry is booming, both regionally and globally and the MS Hospitality Management prepares students to advance their career paths to include executive leadership and managerial positions in the field. The program is offered online and takes just two years to complete. Course content is current, customizable, and business focused, reflecting the dynamic environment of the hospitality industry.
The MS in Hospitality Management is a 45 credit program taken as part of the University’s quarter system. Fully online study allows maximum flexibility. Students take courses in all areas of hospitality management including restaurant and beverage, event planning, travel and tourism, gaming and casino management and resort management, as well as core business courses, and research options. Electives allow students to work with their faculty and advisors to select an area of focus that best suits their career objectives.

They represent a broad range of expertise: including gaming management, travel and tourism, event planning and management, restaurant, beverage and beyond. Students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty to find the specific part of the industry that is right for them through research projects, experiential learning and networking opportunities.
