Robert Ambrose is an Instructor of Hospitality and Casino Management. He completed his graduate studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University and undergraduate at Rowan University. He also holds a certificate in gaming management. His summary experience includes positions in education, hospitality, commercial casino development and management at the executive level, marketing, editorial contributions to gaming publications, and consulting.
Bob continually collaborates with industry professionals from several disciplines to include hospitality, casino and marketing to join his "Guest Speaker" program. This is a program he created to ensure a consistent representation of industry executives in both gaming and hospitality classes. The result is direct contact with students and placing a face with a title.
From 2006-2010, Bob was a member of a development team that designed, constructed and managed both a temporary & permanent casino venue in the Midwest. The venue included a 2,000 electronic game casino, restaurants and racetrack. He was also the Executive Director of Slot and Marketing Operations for the Tropicana Casino and Resorts from 2000-2007 in Atlantic City, NJ.
