Jessica Apgar – Communication & Outreach Specialist
Jessica Apgar graduated from Drexel University’s College of Arts and Sciences with a BA in Corporate & Public Relations. She worked as the program assistant for the Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts & Food Science program before being promoted to Communication & Outreach Specialist. In her current role, Jessica will assist with events and public programing as well as promotion and marketing for the HSM department. She is presently working toward her MS degree in Public Communication.

Tim Flohr - Food and Beverage Operations Manager
Tim Flohr brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the Hospitality & Sport Management program. Tim received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. He brings to the program a diverse background in Food and Beverage Operations that includes corporate dining, campus dining, catering, fine dining and national chains.
Tim has worked in hotels and restaurants on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware, New York City and Northern New Jersey. While in New York City, he was the Food Service Director at both St. John’s University in Queens and Ellis Island Immigration Museum. He then moved on to be the Director of Operations for Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for all corporate dining and catering services in the New York and New Jersey region.
Tim is responsible for all of the procurement and purchasing for the Culinary Arts program, special events and catering on the sixth floor, and overseeing the work study and coop students within the program. He is also the advisor for Drexel University’s chapter of Eta Sigma Delta, the national honor society for Hospitality Management. Tim is currently pursuing his MBA, with a concentration in Business Analytics, at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.
Erica Friedman – Program Manager
Erica is an alumna of Drexel’s Hospitality Management program and has years of experience in both hotel human resources and non-profit management. Most recently, she worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters where she was responsible for recruiting, managing and mentoring college students throughout our region. She is a recent graduate of Temple University with her MS in education and has prior teaching experience. She cares deeply about the future of our program and is excited to be a part of the new Department of Hospitality and Sport Management.
