Introducing AskDrexel for HR, Benefits and Payroll Questions
One of the most common responses on last year's Human Resources (HR) efficiency and effectiveness survey was that our faculty and professional staff weren't sure whom to contact or where to go with their questions and requests for HR. We are pleased to announce the implementation of AskDrexel, a service that makes it easy for you to get the information you need by providing one location to ask questions regarding benefits, HR and Payroll. AskDrexel also provides frequently asked questions (FAQs) that you can reference for a quicker response.
One advantage to using AskDrexel is the ability for you to easily track the progress of your request. After you submit your question or request, you will receive an email confirmation that includes an incident number to track the progress of the response and a link that can be used to provide additional information as needed.
AskDrexel offers two options for requests and questions:
- Answers (FAQs)
FAQs are available for your reference. Type in a question, and the system will return the applicable responses. When you click on the responses, you will be presented with additional information, instructions and/or links.
- Ask a Question
Use this section to submit a question directly to Benefits, HR or Payroll. Select a topic to route your request to the appropriate department.
If you are asking a question about your own information, select the arrow next to the Employment and Benefits topic to view and select from the full list of Human Resources and Payroll requests available.
If you are submitting a request as a departmental representative to change information for an employee, position or budget, select the arrow next to the Administrative Services Topic and select the area and subject that match your request.
You may provide any additional information or instructions in the "Question" section of the form. If you are submitting a document, such as a Direct Deposit Authorization or Budget Request, attach your form using the "Attach Documents" section at the bottom of the page. When you are finished entering your question and uploading documents, select "Continue" to send your request to the appropriate department.
Links to AskDrexel are in DrexelOne and on the HR homepage under the Quick Links section. Step-by-step instructions are also available.
We hope you find this new functionality to be an easier and more efficient method to get the information you need.
