Inspire a Child to Dream Day

Drexel's annual Inspire a Child to Dream Day, which is modeled after the national “Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work®” program, will take place on April 24 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children and relatives between the ages of 7 and 14 of Drexel University, Drexel University College of Medicine and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University faculty and professional staff members will be invited to attend a day of learning and fun activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participating children and volunteers. The day will be divided into sessions lasting 45 minutes each. Children will be grouped according to age for the activities.
Children's Book Drive
To get the children involved in civic engagement, we are asking that each child who attends bring a new children's book (English or bilingual, English/Spanish) to be donated to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, an organization with which Drexel has a partnership.

- 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Registration/Breakfast in Behrakis Grand Hall (3210 Chestnut Street)
- 9:15 - 10:00 a.m. Session 1: Breakout Session/Hands-On Activity
- 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Session 2: Breakout Session/Hands-On Activity
- 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.. Lunch in Behrakis Grand Hall (3210 Chestnut Street)
- 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Tour of Academy of Natural Sciences (1900 Ben Franklin Parkway)
- 2:30 p.m. Parents pick up children from Armory (25 N 33rd Street)
