Political Science Best Paper Award
April 4, 2011 — The Political Science Best Paper Award, sponsored by the Department of History & Politics, is open to political science majors for work written in a political science class. (Dual History & Politics majors may also submit work completed for the History senior seminar.) The prize is awarded to a student who has completed an outstanding piece of significant written work for a course offered from Spring 2010 through Winter 2011. Professors are encouraged to forward excellent student work; students may also submit on their own behalf.
Submissions are due electronically by 2pm on Friday, April 15. The winner will be recognized at the COAS Honors Day.
Papers should be in MS Word or PDF format and sent to Gina Waters in the History & Politics Department at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Submissions should include a cover page with the following information:
- The student’s contact information (name, email address, mailing address, and phone number);
- The paper title and course information (course title, instructor, term);
- Other references (e.g., headers) with the student’s name should be removed.
Please note that work nominated for the Political Science Best Paper Award may not be simultaneously submitted for another prize within the History & Politics Department.
