Fall into Autumn: Learning to Live in the Season of Loss
Wednesday, September 10, 2014
12:00 PM-1:00 PM
Join A Healthier U Program Coordinator and Licensed Acupuncturist Monica Fauble for a special emotional wellness workshop fusing contemporary workplace dynamics and the ancient insights of Chinese Medicine.
Autumn is a time of loss in both Chinese Medicine and in popular mythology. As the leaves fall from the trees, we begin to reflect on the past and turn inward as the light of summer begins to fade.
This workshop will provide an overview of how Chinese Medicine views the season of autumn and how you can fully embrace this time of reflection and loss.
With a focus on how to let go of difficult situations, we will discuss how to work with disappointment, and we will discuss how we can use our individual values to work and live with greater integrity.
This workshop will feature writing exercises as well as interactive components, and we will also have time for questions and discussion. Fall Into Autumn is open to all faculty, professional staff, and students. RSVP required. RSVP before September 8th please. For more information, please contact Monica Fauble: firstname.lastname@example.org
RSVP required. RSVP to Monica Fauble: email@example.com with any dietary concerns. A light lunch will be served.
