CIRTL at Drexel
The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded center committed to advancing the teaching of STEM disciplines in higher education. CIRTL aims to enhance the STEM learning of all college students in an effort to increase both diversity in STEM fields and STEM literacy nationwide.
In collaboration with Drexel's Center for the Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning Excellence (CASTLE), the Graduate College is a member of the CIRTL network, which is comprised of more than 42 research universities across the United States. This network connects leading universities engaged in teaching and learning, faculty preparation, and teaching-as-research activities.
Through Drexel's CIRTL membership, STEM graduate students may create a CIRTL Network Account online and take advantage of CIRTL programs, workshops, webinars and more. In addition to the national network offerings, Drexel will host programs built around CIRTL's core ideas: learning-through-diversity, teaching-as-research, and learning communities.
Please visit the CIRTL website to see more news, announcements and events related to STEM teaching and learning, and to sign up for a free network account. For a list of CIRTL courses open for registration please visit CASTLE's website.
