Healthy Chef Quick Tips: Healthy for Less

Monday, September 25, 2017

12:00 PM-2:00 PM

Healthy Chef Quick Tips involves simple, quick and easy healthy cooking demonstrations led by Drexel Campus Dining Chefs.  Each session shows how easy and quick it is to make food healthy and delicious, while focusing on one simple approach to healthy cooking.  The Drexel Campus Dining Registered Dietitian will also provide a quick nutrition summary to set the stage, provide basic nutrition information, and answer questions.  This event will focus on cooking healthy on a budget, and will feature two recipes to sample.

Healthy for Life is Drexel Campus Dining’s commitment to improve health and well-being by empowering those served to live healthier lives. Through Healthy for Life, not only are healthier menu items provided, but Drexel Campus Dining works to truly enable, educate, engage, and encourage our community to be involved and help create a healthier environment.  This is made possible by providing clear nutrition menu labeling, providing educational materials throughout dining locations on campus, and allowing student access to a Registered Dietitian with any questions or concerns he or she may have.
