In addition to relevant coursework and clinical or role practicum experiences, nurse practitioner and nursing education students benefit from opportunities to refine skills via periodic campus residencies including workshops, exciting simulation opportunities in our state of the art simulation and standardized patient laboratories, presentations by expert clinicians, researchers and panels.

Why Masters of Science in Nursing?

  • Women's Health Nurse Practitioner students participate in Transdisciplinary Learning Days, learning and refining clinical skills in collaborative simulation scenarios with medical students from the Drexel College of Medicine.
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Students participate in critical care simulations; Nursing Education and Faculty Role track students can participate in simulations to practice teaching skills and to learn processes involved in the development of simulation exercises for nursing education.
