  • Graduate Admission Application

    Applicants may only apply to one program. All documents submitted by you or on your behalf in support of this application for admission to Drexel University become the property of the University, and will under no circumstances be released to you or any other party. Please note, an application fee of $65 U.S. is required.

  • Transcripts

    Provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

    International students: If you have already graduated from your previous institution at the time of your application, please email your graduation certificate(s) attached as PDF or Microsoft Word documents to

  • Standardized Test Scores

    GMAT test scores required for applicants to dual degree (MS/MBA) program. The minimum score varies.

    GRE test scores may be required for MS applicants with less than a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA. The minimum score varies.

    TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 90/577/233). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores.

  • Essay

    Please write approximately 500 words that address the following:

    • Why do you want to pursue a graduate degree in television management at Drexel?
    • What do you consider to be the most important problem facing the television industry today, and how will it affect the industry you will manage in the future?
    • What are the short-term and long-term plans for your career in the television industry, and how will a degree in television management at Drexel further those objectives?
    • What was the topic of the best paper you ever wrote as an undergraduate, and why was it the best? You may submit it as a supporting document, if you like.

  • Résumé

    Upload your résumé as part of your admission application or through the Discover Drexel Portal after you submit your application.

  • Letters of Recommendation

    Two letters of recommendation are required, three are desirable. At least one recommendation should come from a faculty member who knows your academic work.

    To electronically request recommendations, you must list your recommenders and their contact information on your application. We advise that you follow up with your recommenders to ensure they received your recommendation request — they may need to check their junk mail folder. Additionally, it is your responsibility to confirm that your recommenders will submit letters by your application deadline and follow up with recommenders who have not completed their recommendations.

  • Interview

    In-person, Skype, or telephone interview required for qualified applicants.

  • LeBow College of Business Application (MS/MBA applicants only)

    Applicants interested in the dual degree program should contact the director of the Television Management graduate program directly for details. Students are admitted to the MS program first. While in the MS program, students may decide to apply directly to the LeBow College of Business for admission to the MBA portion of the program. All LeBow coursework taken for the MS degree counts toward the MBA degree as well. The additional year of coursework required for the MBA is taken during the year following the completion of the MS coursework.
