Center for Hospitality and Sport Management

Culinary School

Taken together, the facets of the tourism industry that the Center for Hospitality and Sport Management supports — entertainment, food, gaming, lodging, meetings, restaurants, sports, and travel — represent the largest industry in the Philadelphia region and the leading economic driver. Philadelphia is ranked as one of the best cities in the world to learn about the hospitality and sport industries, and the Center for Hospitality and Sport Management has relationships with every professional sports team in the city, the finest restaurants and hotels, and the food companies that feed the nation.

Drexel’s Hospitality and Sport Management programs are designed for both those who are already working in the hospitality or sport industries and those who are looking to make a career change into the industry. The programs train professionals to become adept at making sound business decisions on the micro- and macro-level in all areas of the industry. The Center offers three master’s programs and a certificate; most of the programs are offered on a part-time basis. Within each of the master’s programs students are able to choose areas of concentration relevant to their desired industry.
