Environmental Engineering
Drexel offers both graduate and doctorate programs in environmental engineering. Both degrees prepare students to minimize the effect of human activities on the environment to allow all to live healthier, more sustainable lives. The degree prepares students to design systems, policies, and processes with an understanding of the forces impacting the environment in industry and government. With specializations in air pollution, hazardous and solid waste, subsurface contaminant hydrology, water resources, water and wastewater, and sustainability treatment — this field builds on previous study in the sciences and various branches of engineering. A graduate degree in environmental engineering pushes students to become familiar with a multidisciplinary approach to engineer change for societal impact.
