For details regarding the items below please refer to the Applied Cognitive and Brain Sciences (ACBS) Psychology PhD Application Instructions.
Complete the Drexel University Online Application. Do not complete Drexel's general Electronic Letter of Recommendation form. Doing so may delay the processing of your application. Contact information for your recommenders should only be submitted using the Drexel Psychology Letters of Recommendation form.
Current and former Drexel University graduate students should not complete the general Drexel online application, but do need to follow all other instructions below, including the submission of transcripts and standardized test scores (unless already submitted), psychology online application, and letters of recommendation contact information.
- Graduate Admission Application
We prefer that you apply online to Drexel. Apply now:
Provide transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Standardized Test Scores
GRE test scores are required; minimum score varies.
The GRE Psychology subject test recommended.
TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 100/600/250). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores.
- Letters of Recommendation
Three letters of recommendation are required. You must submit your letters of recommendation and provide contact information for all three of your evaluators through the Drexel Psychology Letters of Recommendation form. Your evaluators will then be notified of your application and given instructions on how to submit your letter electronically.
Do not use Drexel University's general electronic recommendation form, and do not mail hard copies of the letters to Drexel.
Please refer to the Applied Cognitive and Brain Sciences (ACBS) Psychology PhD Application Instructions to access the Drexel Psychology Letters of Recommendation form.
- I-20 Application and Supporting Financial Documents (international applicants only)
Interviews are by invitation only, and will be conducted in person by the Psychology PhD programs in February.
