There are two different types of slideshows: standard and overlay.  The type of slideshow is determined by which type of slides you choose to add (image or overaly). 

1. Standard Slideshow - includes image slides with an area on the right for copy
2. Overlay Slideshow - includes overlay slides that take up the entire area of the slideshow with an area across the bottom to add copy.
