Mrs. T. Charleton Henry was a staple of the best dressed lists for decades.  Known for her trim frame and couture wardrobe, Henry was immortalized in Life magazine as one of the "Grand Dames who Grace America."  New York couturier Mainbocher was her American designer of choice during the war years.
