Drexel faculty mentors: Scott Knowles, Kelly Joyce, Amy Slaton, and Tiago Saraiva

Jason Ludwig is interested in studying sustainable energy and addressing the issue of climate change with innovative research. Throughout his academic career at Drexel, Jason has demonstrated a keen interest in research. He conducted archival research and co-authored a chapter in Building Drexel: The University and Its City, 1891-2016 and performed similar work as part of an NSF grant proposal about the use of statistics and quantification during the New Deal administration. Jason is currently completing research on the ethics of algorithms with Kelly Joyce and Kristene Unsworth, studying ethical and legal issues surrounding web and software design. After gaining more research experience, Jason plans to pursue a PhD in Science Technology and Society to further research energy infrastructures and large technical systems.
