Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick

The Society of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick was started in 1771 and is dedicated to promoting good will and friendship between the peoples of the US and Ireland. The programs offers grants for students to spend a semester of study in Ireland/US. To qualify, students must meet the following pre-requisites:

-Be in good academic standing
-Have completed Sophomore year before the start of the grant
-Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or B equivalent
-Be studying for a semester in Ireland or the US for the 2015-16 academic year

Please note that scholarship recipients are required to submit a two-page report following their semester in Ireland/U.S.  This should include a list of courses completed and a description of special experiences while studying abroad. The Society is very interested and eager to hear about the scholarship winners experiences.
