Description: Philly Fellows offers year-long fellowships that connect top collegegraduates to dynamic non-profit opportunities while developing their leadershipand professional skills and engaging them in the city's vibrantcommunities.
The program brings together the non-profit, college, government, andbusiness sectors to accomplish the dual mission of strengthening the city'scultural, educational and social-service organizations and build the nextgeneration of civic leadership.
Fellows work 40 hours/week at a partnering non-profit agency that capturestheir interest in a position where they can build capacity and develop newskills. In addition, fellows participate in leadership and professionaldevelopment curriculum throughout the year and live together in one of threehouses in vibrant Philadelphia neighborhoods.
Amount:free housing, a living stipend, health insurance, andan education award through the AmeriCorps*VISTAprogram
Additional Qualifications: Must be a senior at the time of application.
