Description: IGERT is the National Science Foundation’s flagship interdisciplinary training program, educating U.S. Ph.D. scientists and engineers by building on the foundations of their disciplinary knowledge with interdisciplinary training.
The Drexel/UPenn IGERT program is a joint effort between the two universities, funded by NSF, to provide the best and brightest students with an opportunity to embark on research in the multidisciplinary field of nanotechnology.

Amount: tuition remission, plus $30,000 stipend for the first year, thesis and grant writers’ workshops
