SABBATICAL LEAVE APPLICATIONS

A Sabbatical Information Session on how to successfully apply for, prepare for, and return from sabbatical was held on October 16th, 2024, from 1 - 2 PM via Zoom. A recording of the session can be found via this link. (Passcode for recording: #G8AL*De).
Submit non-binding Intention to Apply Form [PDF] for sabbatical leave to Dean and email a copy to sabbaticals@drexel.edu by October 16, 2024.
Cover page [PDF], written proposal, and full CV to be submitted electronically as a single PDF file to Department Head by October 31, 2024. The proposal package will be forwarded electronically by the Dean/Director with their comments to the Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement via sabbaticals@drexel.edu by December 2, 2024

Application for Emeritus/a status [PDF] initiated by the candidate by December 2, 2024.
Complete application packages due by the Colleges/Schools to the Office of Faculty Advancement by January 15, 2025. Please email the applications to Michelle Wall, Manager, Faculty Lifecycle, (mkw28@drexel.edu) with a cc to facultyaffairs@drexel.edu.

Candidate submits dossier to Department Head no later than August 19, 2024.
Dean/Director forwards candidate’s official dossier electronically to the Provost via SharePoint no later than January 17, 2025.

Candidate submits dossier to Department Head no later than February 3, 2025.
Mid-point review dossier forwarded electronically to the Office of the Provost for file no later than April 28, 2025.

College/School notifies Provost Office (via Office of Faculty Advancement at facultyaffairs@drexel.edu) of candidates applying for promotion no later than October 23, 2024.
Candidate submits dossier to Department Head no later than January 22, 2025.
Dean forwards candidate's official dossier and recommendation to the Provost (via Office of Faculty Advancement at facultyaffairs@drexel.edu) no later than May 13, 2025.
