Recycling Services
Drexel recycles approximately 300 tons of waste each year. Today, nearly 30% of the University’s waste stream is now being recycled. The University is committed to environmental sustainability and supports recycling as part of the Drexel Green initiative.
Recycling on the Health Sciences Campuses is provided by contracted housekeeping services.
Frequently Asked Questions About Recycling
What can I recycle?
At the Queen Lane Campus and Center City Campus - glass, aluminum and plastic can be recycled all in one container. Cardboard and mixed paper can be recycled by placing in labeled containers or by labeling items and placing the materials beside recycling containers.
What kind of container can I use?
Health Science Campus Operations provides containers labeled for the appropriate recyclable items. To request a recycling container, please contact the Building Manager or email recycling@drexel.edu.
