Health Sciences Campus Operations (HSCO) oversees the maintenance of campus landscaping, sidewalks, building entrances, including the daily removal of trash, debris, and snow; graffiti; and provides support for campus events. HSCO acts as a liaison between Drexel constituents and contractors.
Landscape
Landscape maintenance includes planting and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds; renovating lawns; and the design and installation of new gardens and planting areas. Major tree work and all agricultural chemical applications are done through the services of professional turf and tree maintenance contractors that are certified pesticide applicators and licensed by the state of Pennsylvania.
Snow Removal
An approved snow removal priority plan will be implemented, as conditions dictate, to ensure the safe and timely clearing of designated walkways, steps, ramps, building entrances, and fire exits, while keeping costs to a minimum. Snow removal service is coordinated by the Building Manager.
