Safety Training

Welcome to Drexel University’s new online Safety Training platform. You have been re-directed to this page from the former EHS Training website. The Department of Environmental Health & Safety is migrating management and tracking of safety training to a platform called BioRAFT.

The training platform can be accessed by going to You can log into the system using your Drexel Credentials. At the end of each course you will need to complete a short quiz. The system will provide a certificate for each course.

Access and Training Directions

Principal Investigators new to Drexel University must contact EHS at to be added to the BioRAFT platform.

Existing Principal Investigators can access the platform using Drexel credentials by clicking the link on the right side of the page. The Principal Investigator will be required to provide contact information, add all laboratory members and conduct a job activity assessment for each member. This information will be used to assign the required training courses.  Principal investigators can utilize the PI Profile Quick Start guide to conduct the profile setup. 

Students of the College of Nursing and Health Professions must click here for directions to access the system and complete the required training. In addition, a guide is available below for students to utilize. Employees of the College of Nursing and Health Professions must be added to the system by the Chair and/or Manager of the Department. The Chair and/or Manager must complete a job activity assessment for each employee to determine the required training courses. The system will send an email to each employee detailing the required courses. The Department Chair and/or Manager can utilize the PI Profile Quick Start guide to obtain directions to add individuals and conduct the job activity assessment. 

Clinical Practice personnel must be added to the specific clinical practice. Contact your Clinical Practice Manager to initiate this process. 

School of Medicine students can utilize the guide below to access the platform. The guide details the required courses.

Visiting faculty and students, temporary employees and non-employee associates cannot access this system until a temporary access account is created.
