Kristy Jost is a PhD candidate in Materials Science and Engineering, where she is using nanotechnology to develop integrated energy storage for ‘smart’ and electronic textiles. Kristy is funded by the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG), and works with Prof. Yury Gogotsi in the AJ Drexel Nanotechnology Institute, in addition to having joined the Shima Lab. She was also recently awarded best poster at the Electrochemical Energy Summit.

Wearable Power

Kristy Jost, of the Shima Lab, earned first place in the Posters & Graphics category--as well as the People's Choice award--in the NSF's International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge for her entry, "Wearable Power."
