BS in Science, Technology, and Society, Drexel University (Anticipated: May 2015)
Adam Starr is an undergraduate student pursuing an individualized major at Drexel University. This unique major allows him the opportunity to design a curriculum specific to his interests and goals. The degree focuses on the impact science and technology have on our lives from a sociological perspective. He was on coop with the ExCITe Center through September 2013, working primarily at New Urban Mechanics. The coop gave Adam a chance to frequently travel between the ExCITe Center and City Hall, where he collaborated on various multidisciplinary projects. These projects ranged from figuring out metrics that quantify innovation, if that's possible, to researching civic-minded businesses within the Philadelphia region.
