Ray Migneco worked at the ExCITe Center from 2012-13. During this time, he co-supervised student projects including the Senior Design group that developed the technology used in the Science of Jazz concert. He also coordinated audio & video installation for the center and special events (e.g. concerts and hack days). Prior to working at ExCITe, Ray earned his PhD at the MET-Lab
where he researched computational techniques for modeling musical expression and developed music- and sound-based activities for K-12 learning. Ray is currently the chief application engineer for myLINGO
, which is a smartphone app that uses audio synchronization to allow users to enjoy a movie in the language of their choice.
